Description:Skin Cancer is the most common form of cancer in America. Every year millions of Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer. Fortunately, it is one of the most preventable forms of cancer. The majority of skin cancer cases are directly associated with exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun. It is important for everyone to know about skin cancer, and how to prevent it, but it is even more important for those within the agricultural, forestry, and fishing sectors. If you are working cattle, clearing land, or checking the water quality of a lake you are at risk for sun exposure. Over time, sun exposure can lead to skin cancer. [Description provided by NIOSH]
