Description:Objective: Noise-Induced Hearing Loss is a permanent hearing impairment resulting in prolonged exposure to high levels of noise. The Hearing Conservation Amendment of 1983 through Occupational Health and Safety Administration requires hearing conservation programs in noisy work places, and the use of personal hearing protection for each worker exposed. From all research concluded there is still a lack in workers using the preventive measures of hearing protection devices.
