Description:The Occupational Safety and Health Administration recently started a temporary worker initiative, due to a large number of temporary worker injuries. All too often, temporary worker injuries occurred on the first few days of a job, due to a lack of safety training. The goal of this research is to explore potential differences between temporary and permanent workers, in terms of safety. Although the two hypotheses were not supported statistically by the study, the research presented offers valuable insight into the challenges temporary workers face and how improve in the future.
