Description:In this video, the proper fit and use of "N" rating respirators are demonstrated. An N95 mask removes at least 95 percent of airborne particles and there are masks at N99, and N100 efficiency levels as well. An N95 mask or one that provides even greater protection is crucial for protecting you from mold and other bacteria that may be growing in wet grain or inside compromised grain bins damaged by floodwaters. A first step for grain bin reclamation activities is to gather personal protective equipment (PPE) and a proper mask fit is Important in protecting you from hazardous materials.
