Description:The Common Information Service System (CISS) is a service developed by the NIOSH-Office for Mine Safety and Health Research (NIOSH-OMSHR) Pittsburgh Research Laboratory to provide online access and distribution of NIOSH mining information, such as documents and publications. CISS currently contains more than 13,000 abstracts form 1975 to the present. Full documents, including graphics, can be downloaded for more than 45 publications, with more being added daily.
