Description:The Sixth International Fishing Industry Safety and Health Conference (IFISH 6) was held at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) over a period of five days from 8 to 12 January 2024. For each day of the conference, the report includes a description of the session(s) (moderator and presenters) and the summary of the abstracts submitted. Overall, there were over 100 presentations, 6 keynote speeches and 14 posters. The abstracts can be found in these proceedings. All abstracts have been reproduced as submitted, with minimal editorial adjustments for readability. The welcome address is reproduced as submitted. In addition, the document includes a section on the IFISH Innovation Exchange and a number of annexes (list of participants, IFISH 6 programme, welcome speech). [Description provided by NIOSH]
