According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, workplace suicides in the United States totaled 304 in 2018 - an increase of 11 percent from the previous year and the highest number since the bureau began tracking the data in 1992. From 2009 to 2018, 40 Kentucky workers died by suicide while in the workplace. [Description provided by NIOSH]
