Smartphones, computers, and tablets afford the opportunity to integrate and implement new methods and techniques within the practice of occupational hearing conservation. Mobile applications to assess noise levels in the workplace and hearing protector fit-testing solutions for workers are significant advances that are beginning to gain traction in the workplace.
