Description:Epidemiologic problems in studying simultaneous exposure to several agents is discussed. Historical examples are presented of radon (10043922) daughter exposure in miners and industrial exposure to vinyl-chloride (75014) and bischloromethyl-ether (542881). Improvisation and the use of retrospective exposure data in the development of schemes to compare multiple exposures are examined. Several analyses of simultaneous exposures are detailed.
