Description:This report contained NIOSH recommendations for limits for exposure to potentially hazardous substances or conditions in the workplace. For each potential hazard identified, information was provided in tabular form, including the NIOSH Recommended Exposure Limit, the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit, record keeping required, the medical surveillance needed for workers exposed to the substance, whether or not stringent workplace controls are needed, health effects, and if the agent is suspected of being a carcinogen. Specific comments on the potential hazardous material were also included. Recommendations were based on NIOSH policy as previously published. Description provided by NIOSH
