  Worker exposures to nickel (7440020) were determined at the Harshaw Chemical Company (SIC-3339) in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 12 and 13, 1976. The company employed about 250 workers and maintained a part time doctor, a full time nurse on staff, as well as industrial hygiene personnel. Of the 29 air samples collected, only one exceeded the current OSHA nickel standard of 1.0 milligram per cubic meter. The author recommends improved ventilation, and use of more production enclosures to further reduce nickel exposures.
