Proceedings are presented of the 38th Annual Congress on Occupational Health sponsored jointly by NIOSH and the American Medical Association at the NIOSH Educational Resource Center, University of Arizona from September 14 to 16, 1978. Topics covered include future goals of OSHA, manpower needs, legal issues, occupational health programs, shift work, reproductive disorders, injuries to extremities, lung diseases, arthritides, use of pesticides, occupational physician training, and medical student health projects. Participants included physicians, nurses, industrial hygiene and safety professionals, and medical students and residents.
