Description:Recommendations are given for space, equipment, and personnel necessary for maintaining an adequate environmental health program at an aerospace facility performing static test firing of rocket motors or launching of missiles, and using fuels containing or composed of pentaborane perchlorate, triethyl aluminum or TEA, trichloroethylene, unsymmetrical dimethyl hydrazine or UDMH, argon, ethyl alcohol, ethylene glycol, fluorine-oxygen or FLOX, helium, hydrazine, hydrogen, hydrogen peroxide, inhibited red fuming nitric acid or IRFNA, liquid air and liquid oxygen, RP-1 (Kerosene), monomethyl hydrazine or MMH, nitrogen tetroxide, and additives such as beryllium and lead. Areas of interest include air pollution, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, food protection, radiological health, and water control, with some information given for potential hazards, and required protectiive and monitoring equipment and installations.
