Description:Determination of the reliability of chlorine detector tubes, representing all tubes available in the United States, by testing at concentrations of 0.5, 1, 2, and 5 times the threshold values of known concentrations of chlorine generated by a dynamic permeation tube system. These concentrations were verified by an independent chemical method of analysis. Of the five brands of tubes evaluated, only one brand was determined acceptable.
