Description:CDC developed the Booster Seat Planning Guide to assist States, Tribes, Localities, and Territories (STLTs) with assessing, planning, and implementing improved booster seat laws to reduce crash injuries and deaths among children.
The guide begins with an overview of the public health problem of motor vehicle crashes involving children and how crash injuries and deaths can be prevented. Next, the guide takes a step-by-step approach to help develop a tailored
plan to prevent crash injuries and deaths among children in your STLTs. Finally, after working through the steps, you will end with an action plan and communication strategy. The guide also includes a brief list of resources, training aids, and links to technical assistance.
