Description:Burkholderia semiarida was previously identified solely as a plant pathogen within the Burkholderia cepacia complex. We present a case in China involving recurrent pneumonia attributed to B. semiarida infection. Of note, the infection manifested in an immunocompetent patient with no associated primary diseases and endured for >3 years.
