    This report provides the findings from antimicrobial susceptibility testing of Campylobacter, E. coli, Shigella, non-typhoidal Salmonella, and Salmonella Typhi and Paratyphi isolates (from humans) submitted to CDC in 2009. This report also includes 2009 results from a pilot study initiated in 2004 in which NARMS prospectively monitored the prevelance of antimicrobial resistance of E. coli isolated from human stool samples in Maryland and Michigan.
