The U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) VectorLink Project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through PMI, and was awarded to Abt Associates on September 30, 2017. PMI VectorLink builds on the indoor residual spraying (IRS) campaigns and entomological monitoring activities implemented under the predecessor PMI Africa Indoor Residual Spraying (AIRS) Project, with an expanded focus which includes support for insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) in addition to IRS under a broader vector control mandate. PMI VectorLink also includes a focus on data analytics and data visualization to support vector control decisions and measure their impact. These activities are being supported by Abt’s core subcontract partners Population Services International (PSI) and PATH.
