Description:Version 1, January 2010
This workbook is intended to assist hospitals with coordinating medical care for pediatric influenzalike illness (ILI) across their community. Although many of the suggestions were based on experiences with the 2009 H1N1 pandemic, this tool can be adapted for use during pandemic spread of a novel influenza virus. This tool is presented in two sections, identified by type of hospital focus: Children's Hospital Focus and General Hospital Focus.
This report was prepared for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by ORISE through an interagency agreement with DOE. ORISE is managed by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) under DOE
contract number DE-AC05-06OR23100.
