Description:Beginning in 2022, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, experienced an outbreak of rickettsioses that is still ongoing despite multidisciplinary control efforts. A total of 57 cases have been confirmed, particularly affecting children. We report a high mortality rate among hospitalized persons in Nuevo Leon. Continuing efforts are required to control the outbreak.
