Description:Candida vulturna belongs to the Candida haemulonii species complex and is phylogenetically related to C. auris. We report a C. vulturna outbreak among persons in Shanxi Province, China, during 2019-2022. Isolates were resistant to multiple antifungal drugs and exhibited enhanced adhesion and biofilm formation properties.
