Description:Presents findings of the first National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey on body measurements and angular measurements of the hip and knee joints of the U.S. population, 1-74 years of age, by age, sex, and race, 1971-75. Smoothed percentile distributions of selected body measurements (triceps and subscapular skinfolds, and upper arm girth) attained at specific chronologic ages from 2 to 18 years are also presented.
