Description:

An increase in acute gastroenteritis occurred in Chanthaburi Province, Thailand, during December 2021‒January 2022. Of the norovirus genotypes we identified in hospitalized patients and produce from local markets, genotype GII.3P25 accounted for one third. We found no traceable link between patients and produce but found evidence of potential viral intake.
