Description:This report presents analyses of relationships between blood pressure and nutritional variables including dietary intake and selected biochemistries among U.S. adults ages 18-74 and 25–74 years by age, sex, race, body mass, skinfold thickness, and selected behavioral patterns. These estimates are based on standardized examination findings from national probability samples of the civilian noninstitutionalized population examined in the first National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey of 1971-75.
