  • Description:
    Statistics are presented on the number of days of restricted activity and bed disability per person per year, days lost from work_per currently employed person 17-64 years of age per year, and days lost from school per child 6-1 6 years of age per year. The disability-day rates are shown by age, sex, race, place of residence, geographic region, family income, usual activity status, receipt of retirement income, employment status, industry, occupation, perceived health status, chronic activity limitation, veteran status, and receipt of public assistance. Estimates are based on data collected in health interviews in 1980.
