Description:Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) is a once in a lifetime opportunity to reduce the number of new HIV infections in the United States by 90% by 2030. During the COVID-19 pandemic, EHE continues to be a national priority. CDC started scaling up HIV prevention activities in innovative ways to minimize disruptions. Success of this initiative will depend on sustained and expanded investments, community-driven action, improved health equity, and local innovation to meet each community’s needs.
