      Candida auris (cũng được gọi là C. auris) là một loại nấm gây nhiễm trùng nghiêm trọng. C. auris có thể lây từ bệnh nhân này sang bệnh nhân khác trong các bệnh viện và cơ sở điều dưỡng. Bệnh nhân có thể mang C. auris ở chỗ nào nó trên cơ thể, ngay cả khi chúng không làm cho họ bị bệnh. Trường hợp này gọi là quá trình cư trú (colonization).
