Description:The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) established an office in Ukraine in 2010 to develop the capacity of the government and partners to respond to the HIV epidemic. CDC continues to work closely with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health and other local and international partners to achieve HIV epidemic control. CDC also supports Ukraine in strengthening laboratory, surveillance, and workforce capacity to combat disease outbreaks in support of the Global Health Security Agenda.
