Description:Candidemia and Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) are important healthcare-associated infections that share certain risk factors. We sought to describe candidemia-CDI coinfection using population-based surveillance data. We found that nearly 1 in 10 patients with candidemia had CDI coinfection.
