Description:Importante: La exposición al clordano ocurre principalmente al comer alimentos contaminados tales como tubérculos comestibles, carnes, pescados y mariscos, o al tocar tierra contaminada. Los niveles altos de clordano pueden dañar el sistema nervioso y el hígado. Esta sustancia se ha encontrado en por lo menos 171 de los 1,416 sitios de la Lista de Prioridades Nacionales identificados por la Agencia de Protección del Medio Ambiente de EE. UU. (EPA, por sus siglas en inglés).
