  The Outpatient Procedure Component (OPC) is a new reporting platform that will be available for use November 1, 2018 by Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). For ASCs currently reporting Surgical Site Infection (SSI) data using the Patient Safety Component (PSC), enrollment in the OPC will be automatic within the application and require no actions on the part of the ASC.
