Pregnant women and babies may face greater challenges and be more severely affected during public health emergencies. Two CDC centers, the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities and the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, will join the EPIC team to discuss how to reduce risks faced by pregnant women and babies during emergencies.
Please join CDC’s EPIC team, the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, and the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion for a discussion on the impact of public health emergencies on pregnant women and babies. This webinar will discuss how pregnant women, community leaders, and family members can reduce risks pregnant women and babies may face during disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and other emergencies.
