  Volume Two provides data for chemicals measured in pooled samples. Some of these chemicals were previously measured in individual samples. This volume includes recently released data from NHANES 2009–2010. Volume Two also provides data for the special sample of adult cigarette smokers and nonsmokers, including recently released data from NHANES 2013–2014. Of note, the age for eligibility in the special sample decreased from 20 years and older in NHANES 2011–2012 to 18 years and older in NHANES 2013–2014 (NHANES lowered the age for asking the smoking questions in 2013).
  
  The Updated Tables, March 2018 provides data for 346 chemicals, of which 38 are new and 176 have data updated since the Updated Tables, January 2017. Many of the data tables include a link at the bottom to a biomonitoring summary that has information about a specific chemical or chemical group. Several listings also have a link to a factsheet about the chemical or chemical group. Two appendices are updated to include information pertinent to these chemicals and the other chemicals included in the Updated Tables (Appendix C. Limit of Detection Table; Appendix D. References for Biomonitoring Methods).
  
  This release of the Updated Tables includes NHANES 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 results for chemicals that were measured in samples created from pools of serum samples. The historical data tables for these chemicals with results for NHANES survey periods prior to 2005-2006 are included and show results for individual sample measurements. Each historical data table is presented before its corresponding pooled sample data table. PCBs 114 and 123 and the brominated flame retardant BDE 209 were not measured prior to NHANES 2005-2006; therefore, for these chemicals only the pooled data tables are presented. In addition, five organochlorine pesticides were not measured after NHANES 2003-2004, so there are no pooled data tables for these chemicals.
