Description:"This report is one in a set of reports summarizing data from the 2007 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), a multipurpose health survey conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). This report provides national estimates for a broad range of health measures for the U.S. civilian noninstitutionalized population. Two other reports in this year's set provide data on health measures for children and for adults. These three data reports are published for each year of NHIS, and they replace the annual, one-volume Current Estimates series." - p. 1.
