Description:These maps show boundaries of Indian tribes' lands and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s best estimate of the potential range of Aedes aegypti in the mainland United States (48 states and Washington, DC), Alaska, and Hawaii. The estimated range of Aedes aegypti on this map represents CDC’s best estimate of the potential range of Aedes aegypti in the United States and areas where Aedes aegypti mosquitoes are or have been previously found. The estimated range map has been updated from a variety of sources and is not meant to represent risk for spread of disease.
