  The Diabetes Prevention Impact Toolkit was developed by RTI International for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The purpose of the Impact Toolkit is to project the health and economic effects of the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) or similar programs on state, employer, and insurer populations at risk for diabetes.
  
  The Impact Toolkit includes three modules, as seen on the homepage (Figure 1):
  
  • The State module provides results at the state level.
  
  • The Employer module allows users to generate customized results for their employee population.
  
  • The Insurer module allows users to generate customized results for their insured population.
