Description:Ten cases, 7 paralytic, and 3 non-paralytic, were accepted today. Of these the two new Texas cases (both non-paralytic) and the Mississippi case received Lilly Vaccine. The other 7 received Cutter Vaccine.
A total of 62 cases have been accepted through 12:00 noon today (5-10-55). Type 1 polio virus has now been isolated from the stool in 6 of these cases. Suspects are now under investigation in California, Idaho, Ohio and Kansas. A breakdown of today's totals follows (Table l).
