• Muỗi cái đẻ vài trăm trứng trên thành các vật dụng chứa nước . Trứng dính như keo vào các vật dụng chứa nước và vẫn gắn chặt vào thành vật chứa cho đến khi được cọ sạch. Khi nước phủ lên trứng, chúng sẽ nở và trưởng thành trong khoảng một tuần.

• Muỗi trưởng thành sống bên trong và bên ngoài vật dụng chứa nước.

• Ban ngày chúng thích hút máu.

• Một vài con muỗi bị nhiễm virus có thể gây ra những đợt bùng phát virus lớn trong cộng đồng và khiến gia đình bạn có nguy cơ mắc bệnh.
