Description:Numerous barriers to participation in the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) Lifestyle Change Program (LCP) and diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) services have been identified. Technological advances, increased web connectivity, and innovative funding solutions have made telehealth a viable option for addressing some of those barriers. The purpose of this guidance document is to provide users with information about what is needed to implement different telehealth technologies and to provide specific implementation considerations for each technology.
