Description:Renee Anthony and Kate Crawford from the University of Iowa's College of Public Health talk about why we should be wearing face coverings to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Face coverings help prevent particles from your mouth and nose from getting in the air. This is important because people can infect others before they know they are sick. Wear a face covering when you are around other people. Cloth face coverings are not a substitute for respiratory protection so continue to wear a respirator for all tasks you normally use them for. Wearing face coverings along with physical distancing, and hand washing are important steps we must take to stop the spread of COVID in our communities. [Description provided by NIOSH]
