The papers dealt with cancer mortality among females in public sector jobs; cancer incidence among female industrial workers; occupational risk factors for brain tumors among women in Shanghai, China; the occurrence of papillary thyroid cancer in female workers; cancer mortality patterns among women who served in Vietnam; cancer incidence among Icelandic nurses; the molecular, cytogenetic, and hematologic effects of ethylene-oxide (75218) in female hospital workers; work related breast cancer among female radiologic technologists; occupational variability in breast cancer; occupational exposure and female breast cancer risk in the United States; occupational associations for breast cancer among middle aged women; and occupational associations with cervical cancer. Summaries of discussion sessions on occupational risk factors for cancer, the occurrence of cervical and breast cancer in female health care workers, and future directions for research on occupational cancer in females were also included.
