Description:Epidemiology considerations for evaluating occupational exposures to pesticides are discussed. Health hazards associated with pesticide exposure are reviewed along with types of exposure and populations at risk. Exposure assessment methods, such as external and internal collection patches, also are discussed. The results of field tests on the effectiveness of different types of protective clothing are evaluated. Legal regulations regarding worker exposure to pesticides also are included.
