Description:Low temperature and high-temperature calorimetric measurements were made by the federal Bureau of Mines on high-purity samples of reo2(s) and reo3(s) to determine heat capacities and enthalpies. The temperature range of heat capacity measurements was 5 to 310 k for reo2 and 8 to 309 k for re03. High-temperature enthalpy measurements alone were determined for pure re2o7(s,l). The derived standard entropies are s deg 298 = 11.43 +- 0.01 Cal/deg mole for reo2(s) and s deg 298 = 16.55 +- 0.02 Cal/deg mole for reo3(s). [Description provided by NIOSH]
