Description:Worker exposures to asbestos (1332214) were surveyed at the G.A.F. Corporation, (SIC-3292) Building Products Division, St. Louis, Missouri, in July, 1969. Fibers greater than 5 microns in length were found in concentrations ranging from 0.1 fibers per milliliter (f/ml) for one warehouseman to 2.9f/ml for one mixer. Most fiber concentrations in other work sites were below 1.0f/ml. No samples contained asbestos dust concentrations in excess of the average emergency temporary standard of 5f/ml.
