  Worker exposures to asbestos (1332214) were surveyed in June, 1970, at Certain-Teed Products Corporation (SIC-3292) in Santa Clara, California. Asbestos concentrations in the warehousing and mixing, pipe forming, curing, pipe finishing, coupling finishing, epoxy, packing, and miscellaneous areas were 1.0 to 3.5, 1.4 to 2.5, 0.1 to fibers greater than 5 microns per cubic centimeters (f/cc). Three of the 49 samples exceeded the 1970 threshold limit value for asbestos of 5.0f/cc. [Description provided by NIOSH]
