  A walk-through survey was conducted at the degreasing facilities (SIC-2842), McClellan Air Force Base, Sacramento, California, on November 25, 1975, to determine if a mortality study of workers exposed to trichloroethylene (79016) at this facility would be feasible. The plant and current degreasing operations are described, and information is given on the medical program, personnel records, industrial hygiene and safety programs. It is recommended that because of the difficulty in finding a possible cohort and then gathering the information necessary at this facility, other facilities should be visited to find a better study site.
