Description:Snowy conditions are not ideal driving conditions for anyone. For motorists being passed by a big rig, it can be a downright terrifying, white-knuckle moment. The white out caused by a passing big rig can temporarily blind a motorist or an entire line of motorists. You and the families on the road with you are more important than your cargo. Remember these tips for safe driving during snowy conditions: Leave plenty of room. Keep your speed low. Have your headlights on low beam. Stay in the lane that has been cleared most recently. Avoid abrupt actions. Steer and brake gently. Consider if passing is really necessary and the effect it may have on other motorists. [Description provided by NIOSH]
