Description:The flotation process involves complex interaction among the physicochemical characteristics of the particle species involved and the hydrodynamic and chemical environment in flotation cells. Considerable research into many of these areas took place in 1993. Conference proceedings were published with many references to flotation: Beneficiation of Phosphate - Theory and Practice (BPTP), SME; Emerging Computer Techniques for the Minerals Industry (ECTMI), SME; CIM - Mill Operators Conference (CMP); Flotation Circuits: Are They Optimized? (FCAO), SME: and the 18th International Mineral Processing Conference (IMPC) held in Sydney, Australia. [Description provided by NIOSH]
