Description:Cl2 is produced from fecl3 by pelletizing and treating with o2. Fecl3 pellets (1 mm diam) were treated with 107.5% Of the required amount of o2 in a fluidized bed at 735 deg c to give 80% cl2 in the exhaust and 71% conversion of fecl3. [Description provided by NIOSH]
