This system monitors the dragline operation and displays essential parameters such as cycle time, bucket fill, and load time to the operator. A computer simulation model of a dragline was developed. This model was used to evaluate the effect of various dragline operating parameters and procedures on productivity. Volume I of this report contains the results of field tests for both the display system and the simulation model. Volume II is a system manual for the display system. Volume III is a system manual for the display system. Volume III is a system manual for the simulation model. [Description provided by NIOSH]
